Reaching out into our communities is vital to our organization, developing relationships with community leaders, media, school faculty and local civic groups can greatly assist each post in achieving the VFW mission.

Here at VFW Post 1055 last year, we've helped the Ravenna K9 unit by donating $3,000 to their program in an effort to enhance their training and education program for the community. We've assisted Center of Hope for the Holiday's with a $2,000 check which went to aid in food and other much needed non-perishable items for families across Ravenna Ohio.
